Alrighty kids.

Here's the footage of the Opening Ceremonies. I realize it's a tad bit late, considering that it's already like halfway through August. Better late than never though, right? That's my theory and I'm sticking to it; it makes me feel better about myself.

The original plan was to have a bunch of teddy bears, dress them up, organize them into 'countries,' have the torch, perhaps the whole pass-the-torch-on-to-the-next-runner-cross-country-(or street)-style thing, the big explanatory speech, blah blah blah--like the Olympics, get it?--but we decided that it was already late, none of us had any stuffed animals on us, and we were missing the entire group. So! This is what came about.

Bear with us. Like I said, it was late, and Megg and I have a complete inability to take, well, just about anything, seriously. For instance, just forget the part where we start bickering over whether or not The Office is a reality show or not: shut up! No you shut up!
